Leadership Lab: Who Is Afraid of AI?Turning Fear Into Clarity

Find highlights in DE and EN at the end

Welcome to your fresh Leadership Lab, delivered every 2nd Tuesday at 8am to over 740 forward-thinking leaders like you!

I’ve noticed something lately in my coaching conversations.

When AI comes up, there’s often a pause. A slight tension. A nervous laugh.

It’s not about the technology itself.

It’s about what the technology represents: change we can’t control, decisions we’re not sure how to make, a future that feels very uncertain.

This fear is real. And it’s completely human.

The question isn’t whether you feel it. The question is what you do with it.

🌿 Fear as Signal, Not Stop Sign

Fear isn’t a problem to fix. It’s information to use.

When you feel anxious about AI, that anxiety is telling you something specific. Maybe it’s pointing to a skill gap. Or a values conflict. Or simply the normal discomfort of learning something new.

I’ve mentioned this before. Leaders who navigate AI well aren’t fearless. They’re reflective.
