Dear Friends, Partners and Clients,
What is the best gift you could give yourself this year? 🎁
As we dive into the festive season, let’s take a moment to celebrate - you! Despite the many challenges, the ups and downs, it’s a good time to look back and “cherry-pick” good things. Amidst it all, we’ve all shown remarkable resilience and strength. Just like some find comfort in dark chocolate 😉, we all have our go-to unique resources to stay on track. What’s yours?
Celebrating self-gifting this Christmas, I chose to treat myself to a ping pong table. 🏓
For me, this is a reminder to balance work and play, and a reminder of the joy in simple things. It’s these small pleasures that often bring us happiness.
The holiday season is a chance to recharge, connect with loved ones. And after the wrappings have been cleared, to practice self-care 💕 In the spirit of self-gifting, I encourage you to embrace this wholeheartedly.
May your holidays be filled with warmth, joy, and tranquil moments. As we look towards the New Year, let’s carry forward our lessons learned and strengthen our connections for a brighter future 💫

Book of the Month 📚 Adam Grant, “Hidden Potential: The Science of Achieving Greater Things”
We all have so much potential! 😄 This new book by one of my favorite American authors, delves into the secret to success. Should we work all the time? 🤔 Try to be perfect? Battle to beat others? Nope! The evidence points to a different, and far brighter, set of factors that can help us succeed. Develop good character. Become an information sponge. Grant shows that progress depends less on how hard you work than how well you learn 📖
Growth is about developing character, getting better than we were before, and coaching others to do the same. 🌱
As an organizational psychologist, Adam Grant’s work is based on scientific research. He has a knack for storytelling, and he uses this talent to explore complex human behaviors and workplace dynamics. And he writes so beautifully! His personal stories showcase his humility and courage (i.e. his diving experience!). An inspiring book with practical takeaways! 👏
Unexpected benefits of Leadership Coaching 🌟
Executive coaching offers a range of unexpected benefits for leaders. It addresses executive isolation by mitigating feelings of loneliness that often accompany higher corporate positions. It enhances thought leadership, vital for career progression. Coaching also sharpens communication skills and influencing abilities, crucial for effective presentations and interactions with peers and boards. Plus, it empowers self-reliance, through strategic self-awareness. Helping leaders to identify and evaluate options, and craft their own leadership path, rather than prescribing solutions. 💪📈
