Hi, I’m Karla — a U.S.-born executive coach based in Germany, with a degree from UC Berkeley and over 25 years of experience helping leaders navigate change with confidence. I bring a unique blend of American innovation and European depth to every coaching engagement.

As co-founder of the tech startup V4P, where we developed Virtual Reality learning solutions, I learned firsthand that adopting new technology takes time and that fear, not capability, is often the biggest barrier. This insight shapes my approach today: I help leaders embrace AI with confidence, moving from overwhelm to clarity through practical frameworks and human-centered support.
My executive coaching practice spans 16 years, serving leaders across Europe and the U.S. in industries from tech to telecommunications. 90% of my work is systematic, ICF (International Coaching Federation) values-based coaching, while my newest service — AI Confidence Coaching and workshops — addresses the growing need for informed, compassionate guidance in our AI-driven workplace.
With qualifications in systemic coaching and change management from the University of Cologne (2013) and accreditation from the Hasso Plattner Institute in Design Thinking, I combine rigorous methodology with creative insight. My coaching conversations follow a structured 4 Cs framework (Contact, Contract, Content, Conclusion) that ensures clarity and progress in every session. I’m also the creator of art-inspired coaching methods — one of my signature approaches — and host live ArtTalks (www.art-talks.de) in Cologne museums. This creative counterbalance to my digital work enriches my entire coaching practice, bringing visual insight and human creativity into leadership development.
